CAT IN THE HAT: CAT'S EXTRA TALL "SPRING HAT"

This is a EXTRA tall Cat hat. This hat can be scruched down to half its size. Studio tag on inside states it was made by Rita Ryack,. FULL paperwork from Premiere Props comes with the piece. This is only 1 of 20 hats made for the production .This hat was used in a few places. There is a clip like thing at the top on the side of the hat to help move it up and down. The "GRAB HAT SLEEVE" is what move's the hat up and down and keeps it from falling over while on top of mikes head. They then fix up and smooth out all the wrinkles in post production. they can also make the hat pop up faster as well. This hat was used in several places.
1:when THE CAT looks down and picks up a photo of the kids mom and pulls it out to a 3 page long centerfold. THE CAT Said" Hubba Hubba who is this"? Conrad tells him " That our mother" THE CAT Said " AWKWARD "
2: During the song when the hat gets a cake on top of his hat.
3: Its also the hat when the CD player goes back into the hat and closes. well there is a shot that they did where the hat raised up. you can see this shot only on the trailer. they took it out of the movie.
4 This is also seen in the "OUTTAKES"when the cat and conrad and sally are sitting on a bench the hat is bending over to one side and you see it spring back up.
5 also used in the trailer when the hat springs up to have the CD player come out. This was not used in the final film but you can see it in the trailer. This is one of those hats used in different places all thru the film. A wonderful piece to anyone collection.
